Teviot Electric Car Club provides affordable, easy-to-use, by-the-hour, self-service shared cars. Based in Hawick, we offer two [pure/battery] electric cars of different sizes which are stationed in Mart Street car park, each with their own fast charge point.

Membership is open to all good drivers with at least a year’s experience on a full licence.

SP Energy Networks has made this car club possible by funding the set up and initial running costs of the club. This includes the purchase of the first two vehicles, several months' wages for the Project Manager and Car Club Manager and initial payments for back office functions.
